Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of Bidvest Wits duo of Thulani Hlatshwayo and Deon Hotto.
The two have joined the Soweto giants on long term deals.
The 30-year-old Hlatshwayo, who is also the Bafana Bafana captain, led the Students to their historic first league title three years ago.
He brings tons of experience, having played over 300 matches since he made his debut with Ajax Cape Town a decade ago.
Hotto has been one of the most consistent performers in the last few seasons and follows Gabadinho Mhango, who also started at Bloemfontein Celtic made a two-year stopped at Wits, before joining the Buccaneers.
Speaking on the signings, Club Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza said: “We are pleased to welcome Thulani and Deon to the Club,” said Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza.
”These are two players who have a proven pedigree both at a club and international level. We are confident that they will complement the team that we have assembled.
“I must thank all those who were involved in the negotiations.”
