The Proteas will be without Kagiso Rabada in the upcoming One Day International against England.
The fast bowler has been ruled out after sustaining a groin injury.
Rabada missed Tuesday’s final T20 international against England and is expected to take about three weeks to recover from his right adductor strain.
He has since been released from the squad and bio-secure environment that is in place for the England tour.
Cricket South Africa explained his release was designed to ensure he recovers fully ahead of the two-Test series against Sri Lanka which starts on Boxing Day.
The first ODI match is set for 26 December at SuperSport Park in Centurion
