Zambia coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic has been granted a bail of R10 000 for a charge of sexual assault.

The NPA have confirmed that the former Orlando Pirates coach will appear again at the New Brighton Magistrate’s Court on 25 February 2021.

It is alleged the incident occurred during the Cosafa tournament at Wolfson Stadium on Monday, 7 December.

An unnamed woman was delivering coffee at the stadium when she asked Micho if he would need sugar with his coffee.

He allegedly said no and disclosed that he’d need another type of sugar while pointing at his private parts.

The woman reported the matter to her boss who in turn warned Micho not to do it again.

But later that day, the lady went to deliver coffee again at the same venue. And this time Micho allegedly touched her buttocks.

It is not the first time that the ex-Bucs coach has faced similar accusations.

He resigned with immediate and dashed out if the country after he allegedly tried to force himself on a hotel cleaner.

It is understood a case was opened against him at the Norwood police station in Joburg, following the incident at the Protea Hotel Wanderers in Illovo.

Police spokesperson Kay Makhubele confirmed at the time that a case of the sexual offence had been opened. He confirmed the suspect was a sports personality but did not disclose his name.
