No sooner had Orlando Pirates FC announced the signing of Ofori on Tuesday than the Team of Choice unveiled Sebastien Mwange as the man to fill the void.

Mwange has joined the KZN side from Zambia club Green Eagles and bring a wealth of experience as national team goalkeeper.

It is, however, the transfer of Ofori that has grabbed the headlines.

The sought-after Ghanaian international had been linked with Bucs for months, and he finally penned a three-year deal.

“It feels so good. Orlando Pirates are one of the biggest teams in the world. So, I feel happy and I feel at home,” said Ofori.

“I look forward to meeting my new teammates and being part of this exciting project.”

As part of the deal, defender Tebogo Tlolane has joined Maritzburg on a season-long loan.
