Chippa United coach Lehlohonolo Seema has welcomed new signings, Nyiko Mobbie and Luvuyo Phewa to his team.

The two, who were announced on Tuesday, have joined Chippa on season-long loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.

“Chippa United are proud to announce the signing of two players – right-back Nyiko Mobbie and midfielder Luvuyo Phewa – in this transfer window period,” the club said.

“The duo is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns for the remainder of this 2020/21 Premier Soccer League football season. They have both officially begun training with the Chilli Boys.”

But Seema couldn’t be happier, shoring up his shaky defence with Mobbie, and more options to his midfield with the addition of Phewa.

“I am excited to have both Nyiko and Luvuyo being added to our squad. I strongly believe they will contribute massively to this team,” said Seema.

“These two youngsters fit into our set philosophy and vision for this campaign.”

The Chilli Boys have lost their number goalkeeper Veli Mothwa, who has since joined AmaZulu.
