As if they don’t have enough problems, Kaizer Chiefs have suffered a huge blow with the injury to Khama Billiat.

The midfield star will spend at least two months in sickbay recovering from a cracked leg bone, the club have said.

Coach Gavin Hunt is grappling with an ineffective squad, battling to get his team back to winning ways.

“Khama Billiat has a cracked leg bone and will be out for 2 months. We wish him a speedy recovery,” the club tweeted.

Adding to the pressure is the Caf Champions League campaign which is expected to further stretch a squad thin on experience.

Billiat has failed to fire so far this season, but two months is a long time for a player whose experience and influence has been key for Amakhosi.

Chiefs are back in the saddle preparing for a league match against AmaZulu on Wednesday.
